Lou Reed “Fan Club” Tees

I’ve been thinking a lot about NYC lately… and about Lou… So… I designed this I Love NY / LR “Fan Club” (*Bootleg*) tee… Wish I could actually print a few, but all my equipment is in storage at the moment… (*based on a 2013 photograph by Grant Cornett).

This is a “Fan Club” poster I made while obsessing over the beauty of the “Magic and Loss” album (based on a 2013 photograph by Heidi Slimane).

Thought a fun exercise would be to recreate / reimagine the original “New York” album tour shirt. I redid the main image from scratch, and tried to improve it a little (couldn’t stand that stretched out font) and used it for the back, and designed a fake all access pass for the front…
